Update from our team at OM Nepal

“The OM Nepal team is doing well. We spent a wet, cold night under tarps and make-shift tents outside of the team Training Center, where there are fewer other buildings, and enough water, food and gas for cooking for a while. Today the team is being sent out in small groups to different communities to check on neighbours and see how we can get involved in helping. The sun is back out and we are thankful for that.

OM Nepal is responding to the aftereffects of the earthquake and will be involved in relief work through team members and partner ministries. As soon as specific plans are in place we will communicate how you can be involved.

Please pray for wisdom for leadership as they make decisions about how best to use our resources and manpower in doing what God would have us do.

Pray for good health for OM Nepal members; pray especially for good rest at night and for the rains to stay away. Continue to pray for the people of Nepal, as they begin to think about rebuilding homes and making plans for the future. Pray that this disaster would give them a hunger to know God and that interactions with OM Nepal team members would be fruitful. Pray also for OM Nepal teams out on outreach to be helpful in the communities they are in, and to take advantage of opportunities to share about the hope we have in Christ.

Thank you all for your continued prayers and messages. And thank you to home offices for communicating on our behalf with team family members.”
