For three months, participants will spend time diving into God’s word together in the mornings and will assist in ZavCentre upkeep (cleaning, dishes, maintenance, etc.) in the afternoon. Participants will also meet with individual mentors each week and will have the opportunity to rub shoulders with volunteers and missionaries from around the world.

The ZavCentre is one of OM’s hospitality centers which hosts volunteers, missionaries, churches and organizations from Europe and & beyond. Participants are responsible for serving the guests practically which could entail different roles ranging from cleaning to catering or helping with special projects. Participants will work with short and long-term missionaries, local volunteers, and teams who come and serve here in Belgium. Participants will also be discipled by our own team members and will be challenged to grow in different areas over 3 months. fACTOR allows time for daily reflection, weekly discussions, and intentional study.

The fACTOR program is tailored for participants aged 18-40 who are ready to serve others and be challenged to grow in their faith in a cross-cultural environment. Participants need to be flexible to accommodate to changing schedules based on ZavCentre bookings and be enthusiastic about working with those from different countries and cultures.
Participants will be living in on-site accommodation at the ZavCentre with other volunteers, guests, and OMers from around the world.
All meals are provided. Please notify us if you have any dietary restrictions.
Participants are encouraged to arrive before 17:00 on October 5th at Brussels International Airport (BRU). Flight and travel costs to Belgium are not included in the outreach cost. Please contact your local OM Office for travel arrangements.
Participants should be in reasonably good health and should notify us of any dietary or medical conditions so that we can make necessary arrangements. Each participant must have valid travel insurance in case of medical emergency in Belgium.

Please contact your local OM Office for information on Visa requirements.

It is ideal for those with little, or no, missions experience and those looking to improve their English. Our desire is that participants learn and grow in their Christian walk and have their eyes and hearts opened to what God is doing through OM Ships. It is also an opportunity to seek the Lord for their next steps. We hope that each participant will leave with a better understanding of ministry and the part they have to play.
