At one point in history, many Christian missionaries left Ireland to spread the gospel throughout the world. In recent times, the number of Irish involved in missions has become less and less. As a field, we wish to see more Irish men, women, and families taking steps of faith to engage in short term opportunities and make long term commitments both in Ireland and abroad. We are looking for a Mobiliser who can dedicate their time to help make this wish a reality.

As the Mobiliser you can plan to:
1. Stay updated on OM IE and OM International’s opportunities, and connect churches/individuals with outreaches/roles.
2. Engage in conversations with potential OM participants then follow-up in cooperation with HR/Personnel department.
3. Work alongside our Partnership department to identify key networking opportunities and represent OM Ireland (at churches, conferences, special events, etc.)
4. Develop presentations and promotional material with the HR and Communication team.
5. Help plan and coordinate special events at OM Ireland.

Requirements of potential Missions Mobiliser:
– At least one year of previous experience
– Friendly and natural networker with follow-up skills
– Confident in public speaking
– Able to work alone and in a team
– Highly self-motivated
– Gifted in organising and planning
– Open to flexible working hours (i.e. evenings or weekends)
– Willing to travel throughout or outside of Ireland
– Fluent in English, both verbal and written

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.

As an accountant on the mission field with OM, you will use your financial management skills toward the purpose of seeing vibrant communities of Jesus followers established among the least reached. This important role is vital to ministry on the field. As an accountant in OM, you would provide accountability for the cash transactions conducted on the field and perform duties to assist with accounting functions pertaining to bank accounts, budgets, journal entries, financial reporting and administrative changes, guided by precedent and guidelines of established polices. Participation in local ministry and team life may also be aspects of your role.
As our IT Administrator you’ll be assisting the IT Coordinator in a multifaceted range of responsibilities. You will be managing the email network, provide MS Office help desk and other user support, provide network maintenance and support to a multinational team and system administration with Linux-server, Windows 7 and  10.

The Big Red Bus is an amazing ministry tool that is very well known among the Irish community, and YOU could become it's driver! You will be responsible to take the bus and it's team members to different places, and will be involved in it's practical ministries: kids clubs, street evangelism, youth meetings and coffee/tea bars. You'll also be responsible for the general maintenance of the bus and the safety of it's passengers.
As a bookkeeper serving on the mission field, you will provide much-needed support to the accountant on the OM team, and you will fulfil a vital ministry role toward the purpose of seeing more vibrant communities of Jesus followers among the least reached. We are looking for knowledgeable, detail-oriented individuals who will handle the paperwork associated with OM's business and ministry transactions, including petty cash, data entry, bills, accounts, banking and record keeping. Will you be the Vehicle Fleet Coordinator/Mechanic to look after our fleet of 20 plus vehicles? You will be responsible for the regular maintenance of the fleet as well as any associated paper work (such as insurances, and scheduling repairs). If you have mechanic experience, have practical and organizational skills, and pleasant and effective people skills, we would love for you to be part of our team.
All OM staff secure their own funding by private donations.
Everyone should have an opportunity to hear the gospel at least once. There is a generation growing up in Ireland which has not heard the gospel. They do not know who Jesus is or what He has done. One of the greatest needs in Ireland is more Bible-believing churches. We need evangelists, disciplers, church planters, youth and children’s workers to partner with small churches and church plant endeavours. You will need a God given passion for the lost and desire to work in partnership with others.

We have an urgent need for a person with broad training skills. It would be great if you have knowledge of accounting systems but this is not essential.  Someone who is passionate about finance, training and seeing people become followers of Jesus. Join OM and put your photography and coaching skills to use in the crucial role of Photography Coach.  You will oversee the training of OM photographers, provide feedback on their work, set the photography standards for the organisation, and make sure that each photographer knows how to use his or her skills according to the OM brand. You will lead our virtual photography network and help our photographers understand will how their work impacts the movement.
