Go & Live in

Use your mix of training talent, creative skills, IT savvy and project awareness to design interactive and engaging content to equip our people for mission, online, wherever they are in the world. Instructional Designers with eLearning experience are encouraged to apply. However, training is available for candidates with solid in-person teaching skills.
2-3 Years
Part Time
As soon as possible
The Instructional Designer will support a team of cross-cultural trainers by designing and developing instructor-led and self-paced training programmes for online and blended delivery using online learning platforms. You will possess a good knowledge of spoken and written English, and strong computer skills are a must. A second language would be advantageous though not essential. While it is our preference for the post holder to be located close to a local OM office, the role could be carried out from any location with good internet access.

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.

The Gulf Arabic Program (GAP) has been equipping workers in the Arabian Peninsula with Arabic language skills for 20 years. GAP is transitioning from operating a physical location in Oman to providing online Arabic classes. A team of volunteers is needed to help with various aspects of the school including technology, legal, finance, curriculum development, teacher training, and recruitment.
Many ministries in OM are looking for qualified ESL/TESOL English teachers to work toward the purpose of seeing vibrant communities of Jesus followers among the least reached. Some of these teaching opportunities involve building relationships with a particular people group, while others involve equipping missions workers for future ministry. If you are a self-motivated teacher who enjoys a new challenge and wants to work toward the purpose of reaching those who have never heard the gospel before, consider using your skills with OM. Participation in local ministry and team life may also be aspects of your role.
