Hospitality Coordinator(s)

We are looking for someone, or a couple, that are handy, love to roll up their sleeves and who want to serve God and others in a practical way. Come and take care of our OM base at Lacken House, Co. Roscommon, and oversee all guest services.

OM Ireland is based at Lacken House, a 5-acre property with a fully furnished 10 bedroom house, 4 self-catering chalets and office space (includes large meeting room, kitchen, and dining room).
Each year we are privileged to host several short-term teams, special events, and visitors from across the world. We have hopes and dreams to see our property to be developed and used even more, please be in touch to get to know more! Role starts in summer 2021.

REQUIREMENTS:
– Help to make guests feel welcomed and at home.
– A servant-heart and willingness to work practically to serve mission workers.
– Strong organisational skills.
– Ability to anticipate, plan for and respond to the needs of guests.
– For this role you will be expected to develop a prayer and financial support base.

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.

50% work in the office – in addition to a “fixed basic package”, we will find your main focus based on your gifts and interests.
50% work in one of our missionary departments (Building Bridges, arts, church planting).
In the office you work as an assistant in the respective area.
Do you have a knowledge about computers, software and technical equipment? Are you passionate about using your IT skills to serve God in a foreign land? As our IT Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to use your talents to oversee and maintain technical equipment to keep it running smoothly and functioning properly.
