What is good health? Usually we think of physical symptoms, but being healthy also includes the social, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of life. We want to see people living in wholeness in each of these areas.

Are you a health worker, male or female, or do you have a medical background? Come and join our team! We are looking for nurses, midwifes, doctors and HIV-trainers who are willing to teach basic health lessons. We teach about good nutrition, hygiene, massage, first aid, sexual education, pregnancy and child health, infectious diseases like hepatitis, HIV and sexual transmitted diseases, or other topics that communities ask for.

You will be working with a local organization which has been operating for more than ten years in this region.

In our communities people often don’t take care of themselves until they get sick. They then face expensive medical bills, miss school or miss work, all of which cause stress to the whole family. Often good medical care is not available or difficult to access for people living in rural areas. The local organizations teach preventative health to reduce many of these problems before they even start. They help families and individuals learn how to take simple steps to prevent illness. This is done through Health Education Lessons in homes and schools, providing printed resources in local languages.

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.

Children at risk… of what or from whom you may ask? Many of them are at risk of being abandoned to a cold institution away from their home, friends and family! Our main goal is to see children living in healthy families where they can reach their potential in all areas: social, physical mental and spiritual. This is done through therapy, training, and providing the needed resources.

We need Your help! Are you a physical or occupational therapist? Willing to work in rural settings?  Read on!
Are you passionate about helping local communities of Jesus’ followers grow up holistically, willing to use the gifts God gave you for serving and esteeming the local Church?
Our team in Bihać is looking for committed men and women gifted either in preaching, teaching, counseling, music, discipleship and/or evangelism, willing to come and stay with us long term.
Since our beginnings, we have been driven by a deep conviction that everyone should have the opportunity to hear the gospel at least once. Sadly, there are still thousands of peoples and communities that have never heard about Jesus, ever. We are looking for people with a passion for Jesus and a passion to see vibrant communities of Jesus followers established among the least reached. We focus on evangelism, discipleship and church planting among those who have never yet heard of Christ. Do you share this passion and want to be involved in either pioneering or joining church planting initiatives? If so, we are looking for you, and many more like you, to join us.
