Financial Development Officer – Sportslink International

Are you a gifted, passionate and experienced leader and fundraiser who can build local and international financial partners to support our ministry? If you answered yes, we need you to help us raise necessary funds and resources for OM SportsLink International operational and catalytic initiatives. You would have a key role in developing creative strategies to generate sustainable income.

As soon as possible
A reasonable familiarity with and experience of Financial Development.
Able to manage a broad range of issues related to Financial Development through working with people.
Apply and write proposals where needed.
If possible, previous exposure to mission work, preferably OM.
Known and respected by leadership in your area.
Able to work well with people from different backgrounds.
Good working knowledge of English.
Willing to travel
Flexible and willing to learn.
Ability to inspire and a vision to see others grow
Public relations skills

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.

Your tasks:
• Support and development of our web presence
• Active and creative design of the content in consultation with the affected personnel
• Carrying out maintenance work and security updates
• Troubleshooting
• Designing high-performance campaigns in close cooperation with the social media manager
Do you have a passion for administration, organisation and practical logistics? Are you detail oriented and efficient in your work? If this sounds like you, you are just the person we’re looking for to help our SportsLink International Director manage his responsibilities as he leads sports ministries which build and strengthen communities of Jesus followers.
Are you excited about encouraging people to actively work for God's mission using creative formats such as Instagram stories and Facebook posts?
Your tasks:
• Management of social media channels (including Facebook, Instagram)
• Development and coordination of high-performance social media campaigns in close cooperation with the web designer
• Sequential storytelling
• Creation of editorial plans
• Development of our social media presence
