As an accountant on the mission field with OM, you will use your financial management skills toward the purpose of seeing vibrant communities of Jesus followers established among the least reached. This important role is vital to ministry on the field. As an accountant in OM, you would provide accountability for the cash transactions conducted on the field and perform duties to assist with accounting functions pertaining to bank accounts, budgets, journal entries, financial reporting and administrative changes, guided by precedent and guidelines of established polices. Participation in local ministry and team life may also be aspects of your role.

Requirements for the Position:
– Must complete regular application process for joining OM.
– Demonstration of a relationship with Christ and a walk with Him that will be an example and model to the OM Ireland team, the church, and local community.
– Understanding of and compliance with OM, its core values, structures, and statement of faith.
– A heart and passion for evangelism and mission mobilisation.
– Minimum 18 years of age.
– Working knowledge of computer software/programmes currently in use by OM Ireland.
– Experience in working with Microsoft Excel.
– Proficiency in English language.
– An eye for detail to perform various accounting, administrative and bookkeeping tasks.
– Able to produce financial reports and budgets.
– Finance training or previous experience is helpful. Willingness to learn is crucial.
– Self-motivated.
– Servant hearted person.
– Able to work independently.
– Able to maintain confidentiality with accounting information.

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.

As a bookkeeper serving on the mission field, you will provide much-needed support to the accountant on the OM team, and you will fulfil a vital ministry role toward the purpose of seeing more vibrant communities of Jesus followers among the least reached. We are looking for knowledgeable, detail-oriented individuals who will handle the paperwork associated with OM's business and ministry transactions, including petty cash, data entry, bills, accounts, banking and record keeping. Participation in local ministry and team life may also be aspects of your role
Will you be the Vehicle Fleet Coordinator/Mechanic to look after our fleet of 20 plus vehicles? You will be responsible for the regular maintenance of the fleet as well as any associated paper work (such as insurances, and scheduling repairs). If you have mechanic experience, have practical and organizational skills, and pleasant and effective people skills, we would love for you to be part of our team.

The Big Red Bus is an amazing ministry tool that is very well known among the Irish community, and YOU could become it's driver! You will be responsible to take the bus and it's team members to different places, and will be involved in it's practical ministries: kids clubs, street evangelism, youth meetings and coffee/tea bars. You'll also be responsible for the general maintenance of the bus and the safety of it's passengers.

This includes active coordination and handling of personnel-related inquiries, applications, and monitoring and maintaining Caleb and Petra systems; and responding to incoming emails on a variety of personnel related topics.

This is a part-time role which supports the work of the Field Personnel Officer in the Andean Region, that provides day-to-day administrative oversight to the personnel-related activities of Colombia.
