Global Experience Team Member

Join us for the opportunity to inspire thousands of teens and young adults. Use your skill set – acting, set design, painting, carpentry, practical skills, organizational skills, investing in people – in a creative, interactive way in Global Experience at TeenStreet Germany, July 27 August 8, 2020. Through serving with Global Experience you can play a key part in motivating teens and young adults to participate in missions.

Team and cast needs are varied. Several roles are needed immediately for the project design phase. Roles and responsibilities are:

~ Artistic lead: Oversees all creative aspects of the experience including set design, sound, lighting, costumes & make-up, look and feel (including for printed materials), etc. Will be asked to calculate budget for artistic side of project. Needed from story creation (may be part of story creation) to set up week.

~ Set designer: Able to take a story and design it into a 3D set, including layout, look and feel, props required, etc. Works in collaboration with story, construction and operations teams to create the design and is responsible for deciding on/sourcing necessary decorations, props and materials as well as creating a plan/timeline for installation onsite. Will be asked to calculate budget for related items during planning phase. Needed from story creation (may be part of story creation) to set up week.

~ Set decorator/dresser: Decorates the experience set according to the vision of the story team, artistic lead and set designer. Needed 1-3 weeks, from end of July – beginning of August.

~ Carpenters: Needs a range of carpentry skills from basic construction (e.g., setting up walls of experience) to smaller jobs (e.g., fabricating props for set), according to the vision of the story team, artistic lead and set designer. Needed from spring 2020 to end of July – beginning of August.

~ Lighting specialists: Works with Artistic Lead and Set Designer to determine lighting for set. Responsible for sourcing and installing required items. Needed from spring 2020 to end of July – beginning of August.

~ Costume designer and creator: Works with Artistic Lead to design costumes. Responsible for making/sourcing required items. May be asked to help with other sewing-specific tasks. Needed from March 2020 to early August.

~ Make-up artist: Designs look for each actor, sources make-up and applies/teaches actors how to apply make-up. Needed from April 2020 to early August.

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.

Use your mix of design talent, IT savvy and project awareness to assist missions trainers with the effective use of technology in a global teaching and learning environment. You will collaborate with cross-cultural trainers to facilitate the integration of instructional materials into a Learning Management System and provide technical support. Experienced eLearning technologists are encouraged to apply. Training is available for candidates with solid IT skills gained outside the eLearning field.

OM EAST is looking for an on-site IT support person to ensure the smooth running of their literature and media ministry’s infrastructure. Instructional Designers with eLearning experience are encouraged to apply. However, training is available for candidates with solid in-person teaching skills.

If you answered yes, we need you to help us raise necessary funds and resources for OM SportsLink International operational and catalytic initiatives. You would have a key role in developing creative strategies to generate sustainable income.

You could do that with OM as the Campaign Director with our Global Brand Management team. As part of Global Brand Management, the Campaign Director plans and manages the creation of marketing campaigns to support OM offices in local marketing efforts. We need someone to help our leadership ensure the health and well-being of their teams, who work in some of the hardest countries in the world, through community development and relief, serving hurting Muslim people. As part of the Global Video Network under the Video Coach, the Video Producer organises video projects around the world as they relate to OM. The video producer will carry out assignments from pre-production to post-production that are approved by the Creative Traffic Manager, while upholding the OM brand standards as it relates to visual storytelling.

We’re looking for an Events Manager to organize one (or a few) Run for the World (R4TW) events within the serving country/area. If you have skills in event planning, networking and organization, this could be your dream job. Run for the World (R4TW) is an open-source global sports event – running and making a positive impact on the world around you. It is a God-given opportunity to use sport to transform the lives of young people locally and globally.
Join OM and put your photography and coaching skills to use in the crucial role of Photography Coach.  You will oversee the training of OM photographers, provide feedback on their work, set the photography standards for the organisation, and make sure that each photographer knows how to use his or her skills according to the OM brand. You will lead our virtual photography network and help our photographers understand will how their work impacts the movement.
