As a bookkeeper serving on the mission field, you will provide much-needed support to the accountant on the OM team, and you will fulfil a vital ministry role toward the purpose of seeing more vibrant communities of Jesus followers among the least reached. We are looking for knowledgeable, detail-oriented individuals who will handle the paperwork associated with OM's business and ministry transactions, including petty cash, data entry, bills, accounts, banking and record keeping. Support Missions Training by ensuring healthy financial management at the Missions Discipleship Training Base in Pretoria, South Africa.

The applicant needs an understanding of financial bookkeeping as they live and work in a multicultural team and must have the skills to work with people from all walks of life and be able to see the role as a holistically and ensure that the training continues well while supporting the ministry.

The position is part time, and the applicant will also be involved in training and discipleship of participants during the MDT program.

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.

The Gulf Arabic Program (GAP) has been equipping workers in the Arabian Peninsula with Arabic language skills for 20 years. A team of volunteers is needed to help with various aspects of the school including technology, legal, finance, curriculum development, teacher training, and recruitment. GAP is registered as a US non-profit (501(c)3) based in Nevada. As an online school, people living outside of the region can fill many of these roles.
