As soon as possible
We are looking for a couple or a family or several individuals to join an existing pioneer work in the North of France where we already have one OM couple serving.  Are you up for the challenge of working alongside a small multicultural Christian community of 25 people to reach a population of over 90,000 with the good news of Jesus?

Working in partnership with others, you will seek out creative ways to encourage, strengthen and support local Christians as they strive to be salt and light to their neighbours. You may have the opportunity to disciple and train people in their faith, and to reach out to people who have never heard the gospel before.

We are especially looking for people with a heart for reaching out to children and youth.  There are also possibilities to develop other ministry opportunities depending on people’s gifts and passions.

Ideal qualities:

– Good level of French (or willingness to dedicate an initial period of time to learning it)
– Some knowledge of English is also helpful
– Willing to be flexible
– A heart for the lost
– Desire to work with children and youth

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.

Young adults in the Middle East and North Africa are starting to be more and more disillusioned by religion, seeking truth and love elsewhere than in Islam. No one is better to reach this group than peers from within the same generation. You can be part of reaching the least reached of your generation in the Middle East, while learning Arabic and experience the Arab world from the inside.
Are you a qualified social worker with specialization in supporting women, unemployed men or youth at risk?  Did you have empathy to work with vulnerable or marginalised individuals over time, with a strengths based approach to recognized value and build capacity? Do you have the heart and grit see isolated and unreached communities reached with the eternal hope of the Gospel?
It is exciting to see Zimbabweans begin to respond to the call of God into missions, and serving on different continents.
We would love to have someone join our team who is passionate about people and about helping them to explore the possibilities of fulfilling a mission call in OM, by leading them through the application process, ensuring they are placed in a right field of service, encouraging them along the way, and  finding suitable opportunities for them among the least reached.

GPS as a guide “Lost in wonder at His greatness, I marvelled at the beauty of God’s creation as the car wound its way down a narrow country lane.
