Do you have a passion for sports and a passion to bring the gospel to the people of Lesotho?

We are looking for men or women to train and equip young Basotho people with life skills through sport. Soccer and Netball are very popular sports for all children and youth in Lesotho.

This role would entail setting up various sports teams in different rural villages to build relationships with the youngsters and their parents. The sports training should go hand-in-hand with biblical discipleship. You will be building relationships with children and youth as well as training and disciple them. You will need a willingness to learn the local language as well as humility and flexibility.

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.

Run for the World (R4TW), is an open-source global sports event – 1 day, 24 timezones, 40,000KM. It is a God-given opportunity to use sport to transform the lives of young people locally and globally. We need a Global Events Champion to develop the R4TW event and models across the OM world, and build a team for R4TW globally. If you have skills in event planning, networking and organization, this could be your dream job.
Are you the kind of coach or trainer who wants to see people reaching their full potential? Or train people to become excellent trainers? Willing to work among communities that are full of animistic and folk Islamic health beliefs? Then we are looking for you!

People here do all kinds of sports, but a good coach or trainer is hard to find.  This project aims to use sports for character development, leadership training, passing on the values of fair play, cooperation and perseverance.
Sports fields of all kinds are at the centre of every community around the world, filled with people competing and sharing life together. We believe every sports field can become a harvest field for discipleship and generate hope for families and communities through the transforming love of Jesus Christ. We want to see athletes and coaches, local churches and communities make the most of sports through sharing Christ in relational and relevant ways, such as hosting community sports activities, engaging in sports leagues, training coaches and athletes in applying biblical principles to sports, and much more.
If you have a passion for sports and a passion to bring the gospel to those who have never heard before, come find your fit with OM.
