Use your financial management skills toward the purpose of seeing vibrant communities of Jesus followers established among the least reached. This important role is vital to ministry on the field. You would provide accountability for the cash transactions conducted on the field and perform duties to assist with accounting functions pertaining to bank accounts, budgets, journal entries, financial reporting and administrative changes, guided by precedent and guidelines of established policies.

Requirements: Minimal requirements for the position:
– Understanding of and compliance with OM, its core values, structures, and statement of faith.
– Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer software currently in use by OM.
– An eye for detail to perform various accounting, administrative and bookkeeping tasks.
– Able to produce financial reports and budgets.
– Finance training or previous experience is helpful. Willingness to learn is crucial.
– Self-motivated and able to work independently.
– Servant hearted person.
– Able to maintain confidentiality with accounting information.
– Role is full time commitment

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.

OM  in the Latin America  Area seeks to expand our operations in order to meet the challenge of sending 2000 Latinos to the unreached, we are seeking someone to provide financial expertise in processes, training, analysis and reporting. You will play a key role in providing the Area Leadership Team with financial information and advice, as well as supporting all the fields and field leadership in the LAM Area, via the finance staff in each country, and being the point of contact for other Area.
Finance, accountancy, administration, stewardship, training

Preferable:
1. Good IT skills, proficient in MS Office and used to using an accountancy package
2. Valid driving License
3. Good communicator and flexibility to work in a cross-cultural team
4. 3+ years’ experience in an
accountancy /finance role

5. Qualifications in a mathematical based subject and /or an Accountancy qualification
