MediaWorks equips local ministries around the globe with relevant print and digital media that helps them share the gospel and strengthen believers in their communities.

Do you have a heart for fundraising for God’s Kingdom? Fundraising is critical to ensure that our ministry is well resourced, and our personnel fulfil their roles to their best capacity. Join us and use your gifting in financial development of our media ministry.

Responsibilities: 
– Develop a comprehensive financial development strategy.
– Determine fundraising priorities.
– Manage donor relationships and reporting.
– Engage in fundraising and presenting the work of MediaWorks to financial stakeholders.
– Establish and maintain good working relationship with other OM entities.

Requirements:
– Intimate relationship with Jesus
– Understanding of and compliance with OM, its core values, structures, and statement of faith.
– Experience in fundraising and financial development at a strategic level.
– Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
– Able to use appropriate software used in OM for communication or willing to learn.
– Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of German and/or other European languages would be helpful.
– Able to develop and maintain a prayer and financial support base. 
– Self-motivated, team player.

It is possible to work remotely or to be based locally in Austria.

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.

As an accountant on the mission field with OM, you will use your financial management skills toward the purpose of seeing vibrant communities of Jesus followers established among the least reached. This important role is vital to ministry on the field. As an accountant in OM, you would provide accountability for the cash transactions conducted on the field and perform duties to assist with accounting functions pertaining to bank accounts, budgets, journal entries, financial reporting and administrative changes, guided by precedent and guidelines of established polices. Participation in local ministry and team life may also be aspects of your role.
We need someone with a love for capturing people’s attention, engaging them and growing audience responsiveness. 

Our field is made up of over 20 countries across the Caribbean and we have OM workers and volunteers involved in Aruba, Curacao, the Bahamas, Barbados, DR, Haiti, Jamaica, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Trinidad & Tobago along with volunteers in Aruba and Curacao. We communicate mainly via email, WhatsApp, and Microsoft Teams.
50% work in the office – in addition to a “fixed basic package”, we will find your main focus based on your gifts and interests.
50% work in one of our missionary departments (Building Bridges, arts, church planting).
In the office you work as an assistant in the respective area.
