Your roles in summary will be to help with recruitment & ensuring the well being of all the people in OM South Africa.

You will be involved with processing applications, transitioning people into ministry, communicating & working inter-professionally with multiple OM offices around the world as well as the ministries in South Africa, maintaining databases, strategically & administratively supporting our team members with any issues that arise… and so much more!

Whilst this is primarily an office based job we do encourage anyone taking on this role to set aside at least one day a week to get involved in ministry.

Skills required:
– A love for God & for people.
– Fluent in English.
– Good administrative & organisational skills.
– Good computer skills.
– Work well in a team.
– Good communication skills.
Don’t worry if you don’t have qualifications or experience – on the job training can be given!!

As a bookkeeper serving on the mission field, you will provide much-needed support to the accountant on the OM team, and you will fulfil a vital ministry role toward the purpose of seeing more vibrant communities of Jesus followers among the least reached. We are looking for knowledgeable, detail-oriented individuals who will handle the paperwork associated with OM's business and ministry transactions, including petty cash, data entry, bills, accounts, banking and record keeping. Participation in local ministry and team life may also be aspects of your role

OM has been training OM workers for more than 30 years.  We are developing a whole new package to equip workers for the least reached.  We are looking for someone who can train people, teams and develop  training programs.
We are looking for someone to join the OM Africa Financial Development team.  Do you have the skills to be a catalyst for generosity to see that happen? You will be a key part of the work. We are looking for someone who has the character to be self-motivated, trustworthy and who has a keen eye for opportunities. Your work will cover a number of fields across Africa as well as a wide-range of topics, from donor relations, compliance to business and cross-cultural teams.
About 50% of the population in Africa is under the age of 15.  If we want to see vibrant communities of Jesus followers, we will need to include children in our strategy.
As children’s ministry team of Africa Area, we
help fields to align with the vision while including children. We also equip and resource the ministries so that they can do their ministry more effectively.

As an accountant on the mission field with OM, you will use your financial management skills toward the purpose of seeing vibrant communities of Jesus followers established among the least reached. This important role is vital to ministry on the field. As an accountant in OM, you would provide accountability for the cash transactions conducted on the field and perform duties to assist with accounting functions pertaining to bank accounts, budgets, journal entries, financial reporting and administrative changes, guided by precedent and guidelines of established polices. Participation in local ministry and team life may also be aspects of your role.
As a finance assistant serving on the mission field, you will provide much-needed support to the finance manager on the OM team, and you will fulfil a vital ministry role toward the purpose of seeing more vibrant communities of Jesus followers among the least reached. We are looking for knowledgeable, detail-oriented individuals who will handle the paperwork associated with OM's business and ministry transactions, including petty cash, data entry, bills, accounts, banking and record keeping.
We are looking for a person who is gifted in:
– Developing and maintain the stragtegical relations with financial partners, supporting churches, foundations, and prospective partners.
– Working closely with field leader and international parties for the implent of the financial stategy
– Training new recruits in building a partnership team.
– To increase the financial support for personnel, projects, and field ministries.
