Homeless Ministry Assistant

As an assistant in this ministry you would come alongside other believers in feeding the poor and engaging in other tasks at a local homeless shelter. Your purpose would be to visit and encourage these souls in the darkest time of their lives.

We are looking for people with the following qualities: self-motivated, good listener, compassionate, considerate, resilient, hard-working, and makes new friends easily.

Training/experience in working with the homeless  and/or gifting in mercy, encouragement, evangelism, teaching, service, or helps would be a plus (but not strictly necessary).

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.
