Church Relations Director

Across OM we seek to esteem the church. In this role, you will be directly involved in honoring and building up Christ's body at all levels and at every opportunity. If you are a people-person who enjoys working with, caring for and helping in the development of your fellow believers, then this is the job for you. You will help mobilize and recruit Norwegian missionaries for world mission, and promote OM opportunities among Norwegian churches.

– Ability to work with different churches, nationalities, OM entities and other organizations
– Develop an understanding of Norwegian churches and culture
– Public relations skills and public speaking experience
– Serve as an integral part of our office team and ministry
– Commit to a local church membership
– Willing to learn Norwegian
– All OM staff secure their own funding by private donations.

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.

You would be working with local churches and other partners to help vibrant communities be formed among the least reached in the Northern and Southern Ghana

Some are on the streets in various market areas and others are at our Empowerment Centre called: Chanua. Chanua is a Swahili word meaning “Thrive”. We don’t want people to simple survive but to thrive both in a practical way and spiritually.
We befriend foreigners and neighbors from other faiths.
Do you like to work with people and support them in legal personnel matters? Do you like to coordinate processes involving different partners?
Your tasks:
• • Personnel administration: including entry and exit administration, checking working hours, issuing confirmations
• Leading and coordinating recruiting processes including advising applicants, visa matters, administrative procedures, on-boarding processes
• • Interface between OM, churches, finance departments, leadership, authorities
