To serve as the primary contact for OM to Guyana’s Christian community and to promote missions awareness and involvement by speaking at churches, Christian events, business meetings, etc. To serve in this position, the person would need to live full time in Guyana.

The OM Caribbean team: Our team across the Caribbean is involved in a variety of ministries. Central to our thinking/philosophy is our belief that only the gospel changes people and communities. Job Summary:
1. To serve as the primary contact for OM to the country’s Christian community
2. To promote missions awareness and involvement by speaking at churches, Christian events, business meetings, etc.
3. To develop and raise the country budget for ministry as well as personal support (if needed)
4. To develop a country volunteer team (Working Group) 
5. To recruit local Christians for long-term mission service and for short-term outreaches
6. To develop a prayer network across the DR       
7. To raise funds for key OM international ministry opportunities
8. To assist in the scheduling of OM speakers and leaders visiting the DR, to include transportation, lodging, and meetings
9. To assist with long-term applicant orientation (GMO) if it should be needed

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.

Those with administrative skills are needed in almost every facet of ministry to ensure that outreaches, meetings and programmes operate with efficiency, and that tasks, paperwork and coordination involved in organising people and events is accomplished with completeness and attention to detail. OM in Belgium is looking for believers who want to see vibrant communities of Jesus followers among the least-reached, and are prepared to invest their lives to make it happen. With a year or more commitment, you will learn the local language naturally, through contact with native speakers, and help to establish a new fellowship where there was none previously.

Do you like administration and organising and thus support other services and members across departments?
Your tasks:
• Administration: post, updating of lists and schedules, office supplies, correspondence
• Event planning (prayer days, team retreat)
• Assistance with i.e. mailings, smaller projects, taking minutes
• Database management
• Telephone service

OM is mobilising young Jesus followers to join our international team and serve and experience ministry in Ireland. We are open to have interns come from 2 weeks to 6 months, or even up to a year! Dates are flexible, although there might be more opportunities to help in other ministries during the spring/summer.

You could help our International Training Director manage his responsibilities so he can lead the work in training and developing those committed to our mission effectively. Use your financial management skills toward the purpose of seeing vibrant communities of Jesus followers established among the least reached. This important role is vital to ministry on the field. You would provide accountability for the cash transactions conducted on the field and perform duties to assist with accounting functions pertaining to bank accounts, budgets, journal entries, financial reporting and administrative changes, guided by precedent and guidelines of established policies.
