Intensive Mission Training Coordinator

We are seeking persons who will form part of our IMT coordination team. This cross-cultural training program seeks to prepare, equip and train missionaries to serve among the least reached people groups, most of whom are living in the 10/40 window.

As part of the coordination team your role will include working together to create, facilitate & coordinate our seven-month Intensive Mission Training (IMT) program which will prepare the participants to serve among the unreached people groups of the world. Apart from administrative tasks, the coordinators should maintain good relationship with the participants, overseeing and guiding them through their relational interactions to support their spiritual and personal development.

Requirements:
• Have good interpersonal communication skills
• Have good administration, and planning skills
• Be able to communicate in Spanish and English, or willing to learn
• Be a mature Christian, willing to help people grow and mature in their faith
• Have experience and be capable of resolving interpersonal conflicts
• Be able to guide, coach & mentor

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.

For years God has been calling Chilean missionaries to serve, especially to the least reached countries. They have been answering the call to mission but have been finding it difficult to raise support to go. Our Language School was born that is to be out of this need.
Our team has a great need for someone to lead the finances and  provide data entry, finance analysis support, and generate financial reports.  Your duties will include providing accurate and sufficient financial information to the field leader in order to make ministry decisions, and to provide a measure of accountability in finance on the field and for OM internationally.

Do you love to listen to people's stories, build relationships and speak into people's situations? This role of people care is to be a person within our team who is focused on the mental and emotional well being of the team members and to give counseling if needed. We seek a person with a great love for their fellow Christians, and who desires to assist, counsel and provide spiritual care for our missionaries as they serve God in this country.
As a member of this church planting team you will have the opportunity to join our teammates in ushering people into the family of God.  It will be your job to attend meetings, meet with seekers and new Believers one-on-one, encourage the local pastors, and to take part in expanding this already growing ministry.
In this fairly remote country in the Himalayas, many people have never heard of God’s love. Join Summit for nine months and spend a significant part of your time in the mountains. While travelling in pairs through the villages, you will hand out books, share the gospel and sleep at local homes! Pray for people and encourage and support our local workers. Time spend on trek will help you see, and be a part of, what God is doing to expand His Kingdom to the least reached peoples of the Himalayas.

Your tasks:
• Appraisals, debriefing, training advice as needed
• Advice and support in crisis and conflict situations
• Cooperation and exchange with other people care personnel worldwide
• Regular updates and announcements of emergency procedures, complaint procedure, child protection regulation
• Maintaining contact with personnel in-country and abroad
