Public and Media Relations Manager – Global Brand and Marketing

You could do that with OM as the Public and Media Relations Manager with our Global Brand Management team. As part of Global Brand Management, you would guide the annual Public Relations and media strategy to publicly champion the work of God through OM around the world.  Could this be the right place for you?

Responsibilities:
•Build and execute proactive media content strategy
•Cultivate and grow positive media relations
•Advise OM fields and ministries on media and public relations strategy
•Facilitate media strategy in the event of crisis

Requirements:
•Degree and/or experience in media relations at an international level
•Strong organisational skills
•Proactive communicator
•Detail-oriented
•Good people skills and a team player
•Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Teams
•Comfortable learning new software as required
•Commit to raising your personal support. OM staff secure their own funding by private donations.

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.

We are looking for someone who has the character to be self-motivated, trustworthy and who has a keen eye for opportunities. Your work will cover a number of fields across Africa as well as a wide-range of topics, from donor relations, compliance to business and cross-cultural teams.
We are looking for an individual to provide leadership for both expatriate and local personnel to be a part of the following:

-Oversee the on-boarding process of both expatriate and local personnel.

-Maintain adequate staffing levels to ensure the organization can carry out its work effectively.

-Provide a welcoming environment for newcomers.

-Improve skills and efficiency of  Personnel Department and  relationships with OM offices worldwide.
