What is art? Most of us know what drawing or painting is, but art is more than just that: it’s thinking outside the box. A lot of people have a talent to be creative and don’t even know it. Our art and woodwork lessons are designed to give young people creative and practical skills, critical thinking, attention to detail, a healthy work ethic and new avenues for income.
Do you have experience in project promotion, proposal writing or financial development?  Are you interested in contributing to a communications platform, which will facilitate transformation of lives in one of the poorest and most densely populated municipalities in Europe? Are you a writer or photographer with a heart to come alongside the poor and represent strategies or stories of hope to the wider world?
While working with the Communications and Marketing Department you will be involved in supporting OM Canada’s digital media efforts with a focus on building awareness and engagement, to tell the global OM story to our Canadian audience.
Can you imagine managing creative projects around the world? Are you a problem solver, who pays attention to detail and has good people skills? Are you familiar with ethnodoxology? This role manages short-term projects in a variety of artforms and formats – from performance tours to customized training workshops. Some involve international visits with artists. Other projects engage and empower local artists. But all projects seek to honour local art forms in moving people to better love Jesus.
