OM EAST, based near Vienna, specialises in publishing high quality Christian print and digital media in the heart languages of diverse people groups. Many OM teams and other Christian ministries are approaching us for help with finalising their videos to share with the people they seek to reach, including in places where there is little or no Christian media available in their language. We are looking for video editors to meet this need and enable OM EAST to offer this support. Would you consider using your skills to help share the gospel and strengthen believers in their faith? In this role, it is possible to work remotely or to be based locally in Austria.

Requirements:
Video Editor’s responsibiilities:
• Assemble and edit footage
• Gather and tag media assets
• Create graphics and bring videos to life
• Add animations and effects and colour-correct
• Edit dynamic audio
• Add subtitles
• Consult with partners
• Communicate and collaborate with team regarding specific projects and workflow

Video Editor’s knowledge, skills and experience:

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.

We see God at work through our sports ministries, but we need someone to help us to tell our stories better. The Head of Creative Outreach recruits, develops and leads a team of content creators who will work online, face to face and through street and venue events to share the love of Jesus with people who have never encountered it.

The team will be made up of artists, musicians, dancers, sports people, writers, directors, producers and others from the creative industries willing to invest a year or more for God’s kingdom. Spiritual maturity and an openness to all ideas are key to this role.
As a journalist with OM, you would serve OM offices around the world by writing stories for the purposes of advocacy, recruiting, financial development, education, awareness and prayer. The position involves producing insightful and engaging content of ministry, culture and people that will be used in print and online publications. The writer will accurately and creatively document how God is working through OM, while encouraging audience engagement with OM through praying for, giving to, or joining missions. OM journalists share stories of God’s work through OM that align with OM’s writing guidelines in a culturally sensitive way. Additionally, participation in local ministry and team life may also be aspects of your role.

As a journalist with OM in the Andean Region, you would serve OM offices in Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Colombia by writing stories for the purposes of advocacy, recruiting, financial development, education, awareness and prayer. Are you good with computers and IT and willing to use these gifts in overseas mission? We need someone to keep our systems functioning properly, to help our team in areas of IT that they don't understand and to handle security of devices and information.
OM in Belgium works in a sophisticated trilingual environment. Our ambition to plant churches, reach the unreached and mobilise believers is often limited by our capacity in language. We are looking for a language specialist in Dutch, and a language specialist in French, who can unblock these ministries and multiply our work. For Dutch, this also includes taking part in the Flemish Bible translation project.

The nature of communication and receiving in-formation to educate, inspire and involve the Church in world missions has changed radically in the last 10 years. The people in Azerbaijan are permanently using the internet and we would love to use social media to share the gospel with tools like Facebook, You Tube, Vimeo, and Instagram in Muslim dominated environment in order to reach a new generation of younger people that are not mainly reading and connecting with hard copy.
