OM in Belgium works in a sophisticated trilingual environment. Our ambition to plant churches, reach the unreached and mobilise believers is often limited by our capacity in language. We are looking for a language specialist in Dutch, and a language specialist in French, who can unblock these ministries and multiply our work.
What is art? Most of us know what drawing or painting is, but art is more than just that: it’s thinking outside the box. A lot of people have a talent to be creative and don’t even know it. Our art and woodwork lessons are designed to give young people creative and practical skills, critical thinking, attention to detail, a healthy work ethic and new avenues for income.
As soon as possible
We need people who have a heart for pioneering new forms of Creative Arts outreach on the street, or through starting up art-based community outreach. Story tellers who would like to use Art as a medium to attract people to be willing to listen to Jesus stories.
Use your skills to convert powerful Christian publications into downloadable eBooks that can travel to hard-to-reach places. Share the hope of Christ by making resources available in areas where there is little or no Christian literature in the local language!
Can you imagine managing creative projects around the world? Are you a problem solver, who pays attention to detail and has good people skills? Are you familiar with ethnodoxology? This role manages short-term projects in a variety of artforms and formats – from performance tours to customized training workshops. Some involve international visits with artists. Other projects engage and empower local artists. But all projects seek to honour local art forms in moving people to better love Jesus.
In this fairly remote country in the Himalayas, many people have never heard of God. Join Summit for nine months and spend a significant part of your time in the mountains. While travelling in pairs through the villages, you will share the good news and sleep at guesthouses and in local homes.
