You would provide accountability for the cash transactions conducted on the field and perform duties to assist with accounting functions pertaining to bank accounts, budgets, journal entries, financial reporting and administrative changes, guided by precedent and guidelines of established policies.

Requirements: Minimal requirements for the position:
– Understanding of and compliance with OM, its core values, structures, and statement of faith.
– Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer software currently in use by OM.
– An eye for detail to perform various accounting, administrative and bookkeeping tasks.
– Able to produce financial reports and budgets.
– Finance training or previous experience is helpful. Willingness to learn is crucial.
– Self-motivated and able to work independently.
– Servant hearted person.
– Able to maintain confidentiality with accounting information.
– Role is full time commitment

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.

Our vibrant, discipleship-focused team in rural Angola needs an administrator to help us with our financial record keeping and other office-related work. This is not a full-time role and there will be opportunity for the individual to join in other ministry activities. Preferable:
1. Good IT skills, proficient in MS Office and used to using an accountancy package
2. Valid driving License
3. Good communicator and flexibility to work in a cross-cultural team
4. 3+ years’ experience in an
accountancy /finance role

5. Qualifications in a mathematical based subject and /or an Accountancy qualification
