Support Services Administrator

Across OM, we have a strong need for individuals gifted in administration to aid ministry taking place on the mission field. Those with administrative skills are needed in almost every facet of ministry to ensure that outreaches, meetings and programmes operate with efficiency, and that tasks, paperwork and coordination involved in organising people and events is accomplished with completeness and attention to detail.

Seeking an administrator to assist with a variety of tasks to  aid the Support Services department in OM Canada. This position is based at our office in Port Colborne but remote work is also a possibility.

This position requires that you raise your own personal support.

General task include:

Coordinating:
Serve as an organizing hub to promote efficiency and good communication.

Administration:
Manage a variety of details to promote efficiency and development.

Assisting:
Assist the People Services department to increase team capacity.

Financial data entry:
Process cash, cheque, credit card, direct debit, and other gifts. Ensure that all gifts received are posted to the system and deposited in the bank.

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.

We are looking for someone with accounting skills to support OM teams worldwide.

The role involves assisting with an entity’s finance operations remotely and providing financial advice and support to the leadership team. It may be necessary to be involved in preparing end of year accounts ready for external audit.

The role exists to support OM’s ministry of seeing Vibrant Communities of Jesus Followers among the least reached.

• Fundraising campaigns to promote world-wide OM projects
• Organisation of events for partners
• Support and development of our online-giving platform
• Development and implementation of strategies to raise new partners
• Regularly maintaining contact to our partners
