Head of Maintenance – Training Base

The OM South Africa Training Base operates on a 5-hectare plot near Pretoria, Gauteng.  We need a full-time maintenance manager who is able to keep up with the general maintenance of buildings and land, by leading a team of local paid general workers and volunteers. This person will need a background/understanding of building maintenance and of leading a small team.

Support missions training by ensuring that the OM South Africa Missions Training Base maintenance department is run effectively.

This position ensures the continuing day-to-day running of the maintenance department at the OM South Africa Training Base in Pretoria, South Africa.  Leading a team of paid and volunteer staff, the applicant must have an understanding of the following (including but not limited to): repair and maintenance of buildings, scheduling, budgeting, people management and logistics.

The appointed person will be required to attend some basic missions courses if they have not completed the basic OM missions programs.

Please note: This is a non-salaried position. Members need to raise funds and support in partnerships with friends, family and churches.

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.
