Head of Catering – Training Base

The OM South Africa REACH Training Base serves from 20 – 120 people meals every day. The head of Catering will make sure the catering department is run effectively, ensuring that the staff and participants are fed healthy meals, and creating an environment of learning and service for all people involved in the catering department.

Support Missions Training by ensuring that the OM South Africa Missions Training Base Catering Department is run effectively.

This position ensures the continuing day to day running of the Catering Department at the OM South Africa Missions Training Base in Pretoria, South Africa. Leading a team of paid and volunteer staff, the applicant must have an understanding of the following (including but not limited to): menu planning, budgeting, people management, logistics.

All applicants need to have gone through or need to be committed to attend REACH. Other online training might be suggested (Culture & You, VCJF, etc.).

Note: This is not a salaried position.

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.
