Go & Live in

Many ministries in OM are looking for qualified ESL/TESOL English teachers to work toward the purpose of seeing vibrant communities of Jesus followers among the least reached. Some of these teaching opportunities involve building relationships with a particular people group, while others involve equipping missions workers for future ministry. If you are a self-motivated teacher who enjoys a new challenge and wants to work toward the purpose of reaching those who have never heard the gospel before, consider using your skills with OM. Participation in local ministry and team life may also be aspects of your role.
2-3 Years
Part Time
There are many opportunities on the field to use English teaching as a way to connect with locals and build relationships.  Trained English teachers have a valid and valuable platform from which to serve in this Creative Access Nation.  Join the field through our PLOT training program and learn the local language while exploring opportunities to minister through your skills and gifts as an English teacher.
Short term opportunities are available as well.  If you coming as a short term applicant, the PLOT program is not required.  You will join a long-term team or travel to different long-term teams and support their ministries with your English teaching training.

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.
