Full Time
FPO tasks:
Recruiting  – Participating the recruitment process in order to achieve a good fit between recruits and ministries in the field.
Placement -Oversee the application and preparation process in order to ensure applicants are sent (or received) to the OM world effectively.
Administration – Gather and maintain personnel records in order to provide accurate, appropriate information and support to OMer and leadership.
Reporting – Provide accurate information to field, area and international leadership in order to help leaders with strategic planning and to assess health and well-being of the team.
Minimum preferred requirements
• OM core values internalized
• Cares deeply for people and has a vision, in a broad sense, for personnel ministry.
• Significant experiential knowledge of ministry within the field of service
• Able to give sufficient time to fulfil the role as dictated by the size and setting of the field.
• Able to understand and implement the complexities of OM policies and practices
• Able to connect people; a good networker
• Able to work well with others, both as leader and team member.
• Able to communicate in the team language and in English.
• Must have administrative ability


Technical competencies
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Proficient in the use of computer software currently in use by OM for communication, reporting, and personnel management.
- Comfortable with administration and able to work with necessary technology.

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.

As an accountant on the mission field with OM, you will use your financial management skills toward the purpose of seeing vibrant communities of Jesus followers established among the least reached. This important role is vital to ministry on the field. As an accountant in OM, you would provide accountability for the cash transactions conducted on the field and perform duties to assist with accounting functions pertaining to bank accounts, budgets, journal entries, financial reporting and administrative changes, guided by precedent and guidelines of established polices. Participation in local ministry and team life may also be aspects of your role.
Teach our leaders’ children in small classes and invest in first-hand cultural experiences as you visit port cities around the world. Being a member of the on-board community you will receive spiritual input, while living in an international community and being involved in community activities both on-board and onshore. We are looking for qualified and flexible early years and primary teachers to join the school team, working with children within the 3-11 year age-range.
