Reaching out to Muslims in Denmark

In Denmark there are 250.000 Muslims. Many of them are from countries where it's very difficult to hear the gospel. In September 2021 a church plant was started in one of the biggest Muslim areas in Denmark. Now OM is partnering with this church plant called Vineyard Vollsmose.
6-12 months
Part Time
When you join Vineyard Vollsmose you will be serving in a church fellowship where half of the people attending are not Christians. Some are Muslims, others are Atheists or have other backgrounds. And all the time we are reaching out in the neighbourhood to make a positive difference. You will get the opportunity to grow in your giftings and put into practise what God has laid on your heart. You will also be mentored and trained to serve in this kind of ministry.

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.

Young adults in the Middle East and North Africa are starting to be more and more disillusioned by religion, seeking truth and love elsewhere than in Islam. No one is better to reach this group than peers from within the same generation. If you are 20-30 years old, you can be part of reaching the least reached of your generation in the Middle East, while learning Arabic and experience the Arab world from the inside.
Be a part of the PLOT program through hands-on orientation and training to prepare for long-term ministry. You will support and contribute to the work of long-termers while studying language (local Arabic dialect), learning culture, and developing your own ministry and residency platform. You will also be able to travel and see what life is like around the country.  The aim is to learn, be exposed to many different experiences, and discover how  can make a difference here long-term!
