In this fairly remote country in the Himalayas, many people have never heard of God’s love. When you join Summit for five or nine months or two years, a significant part of your time is spend out of the city. While travelling in pairs through the villages, you will share the good news and sleep at guesthouses and in local homes.

Your first month will be focused on preparation for trekking; practical teachings, language study, team activities, and a short trek. Weekly we study the word and on most weekends we attend a local fellowship. You are ready and most welcome to join when you:
have a bachelor's degree and a basic understanding of English language;
will be flexible with any changes or circumstances;
are in fairly good health condition, both physically and emotionally;
are passionate about sharing the good news with others.

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.

STEP out to serve and support long-term ministry and gain valuable experience. You will learn some of the local Arabic and be immersed in culture, while supporting long-termers in their ministries or in supportive roles like child-minding or home schooling. You will also be able to travel and see what life is like around the country. The aim is to learn, be exposed to many different experiences and discover how you can make a difference here!

We focus on evangelism, discipleship and church planting among those who have never yet heard of Christ. In Denmark there are 250.000 Muslims. Many of them are from countries where it's very difficult to hear the gospel. In September 2021 a church plant was started in one of the biggest Muslim areas in Denmark. Now OM is partnering with this church plant called Vineyard Vollsmose.
