Financial Development Manager

FD: Income generation is critical to ensure that our ministries are well resourced, and our personnel fulfil their roles to their best capacity. We believe that there needs to be a healthy balance between income generation from within Zambia, combined with fundraising activities through our partners. We need someone to further define this balance in our financial development strategy and execute this strategy with the financial development team.

Responsibilities:
• Review and update our financial Development strategy.
• Support development and implementation of Self Sustainability Initiatives (SSI) and Business as Mission (BAM)
• In collaboration with ministry leaders determine fundraising priorities.
• Manage donor relationships and reporting.
• Engage in fundraising and presenting the work to financial stakeholders.

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.

Your tasks:
• Support the head of administrator
• Assistance in personnel administration, including entry/exit administration, work hour control, research tasks, development of various areas
• Assistance in the finance department
• Event planning: including prayer days, team retreat
• Supporting activities, including proofreading, list creation
The nature of communication and receiving information to educate, inspire and involve the Church in world missions has changed radically in the last 10 years. The people in Azerbaijan are permanently using the internet and we would love to use social media to share the gospel with tools like Facebook, You Tube, Vimeo, and Instagram in order to reach a new generation of younger people that are not mainly reading and connecting with hard copy.
