Video Editor and Asset Manager

As part of the International Video Network under the Video Coach, an editor will create stories from around the world as they relate to OM. The editor will receive assignments approved by the Global Campaigns Coordinator, while upholding OM brand standards as it relates to visual storytelling. A portion of this role involves asset management. An asset manager will respond and fulfill requests from OM teams for video assets, help with archiving and maintaining organization of the video servers.

This is a paid part-time (20 hours) position, and can be done remotely.

Main aspects of the position:
1. Asset Management and Communication
    o Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint, etc.
    o Good communication skills, showing grasp of English grammar and a mindful tone in email or messaging.
    o Pro-active – shows initiative in answering questions, finding what is needed, or accessing the right resources.
    o Familiarity with working in a diverse, cross-cultural environment is a plus, but can be trained / coached for the right candidate.

2. Video Editing:
    o Proficient in video editing software – Adobe Premier Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro
    o Basic audio editing – levelling and mixing vocal tracks, sound effects, and music.

3. Uphold OM brand standards

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.
