Somali Christian Media Ministries is looking for a Fundraiser to help us find the finances we need to run our ministry that God called us to. We need a Fundraiser to identify potential supporters and maintain relationships with our existing supporters. Do you have a heart to reach the least-reached Somali Muslims?

Key responsibilities include:
• Identifying potential supporting churches, individuals or organisations
• Presenting our ministry work to potential supporting churches, individuals and organisations
• Building and maintaining relationships with existing supporters by reporting ministry outcomes and updating them
• Developing a financial development strategy
• Finding global fundraising opportunities for the ministry


Requirements:
• Intimate relationship with Jesus, with a heart to reach the Muslims with the Gospel
• Church that approves of your ministry and your own financial support
• Well experienced in fundraising and financial development
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Able to use appropriate software used in OM for communication or willing to learn
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Knowledge of Somali would be a great advantage but not required
• Able to develop and maintain a prayer and financial support base
• Able to talk in front of groups
• Able to travel internationally for fundraising if required
• Self-motivated
• Works well in a team

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.
