- Requirements
This role includes application processes, placement, on-boarding and off-boarding, and personnel-related administration and support mobilizing, care and development of OM personnel.
This role supports the APO in providing the OM Africa Area Hub with strategic and day-to-day administrative oversight regarding personnel-related activities. This includes general personnel-related administrative tasks, assisting in maintaining D365 & Caleb systems; and responding to incoming emails on a variety of personnel-related topics.
• Cares for people and has a vision, in a broad sense, for personnel and support ministry
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to communicate in the team language and in English.
• Must have administrative ability
• Flexibility and willingness to learn
• The appointed person will be required to attend some basic missions’ courses if they have not completed the basic
OM missions programs.
• Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
• Willing to learn the use of computer software currently in use by OM for communication, reporting, and personnel management.
• Comfortable with administration and able to work with necessary technology.

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.

As an accountant on the mission field with OM, you will use your financial management skills toward the purpose of seeing vibrant communities of Jesus followers established among the least reached. This important role is vital to ministry on the field. As an accountant in OM, you would provide accountability for the cash transactions conducted on the field and perform duties to assist with accounting functions pertaining to bank accounts, budgets, journal entries, financial reporting and administrative changes, guided by precedent and guidelines of established polices. Participation in local ministry and team life may also be aspects of your role.
