Pamir Ministries is looking for a part time person to assist with the financial accounts of the organization. Duties include: receiving and processing staff expense reports, entering financial data into our accounting software, purchasing organizational items, payment of invoices, and creation of financial reports.  While previous bookkeeping knowledge and experience are preferred, it is not required. It is possible for the Finance Assistant to be based remotely.
This person will work alongside our Kitchener team who work in media production and discipleship outreach. The office administrator will oversee all administrative responsibilities in the office such as
•Oversee and ensure smooth running of Kitchener office, including safety / security standards
•Oversee logistics for guests and team meetings
•Assist Pamir Finance officer as needed
•Liaise with Pamir Europe and OM Canada
•Help colleagues with communications, travel plans, public relation
Across OM, we have a strong need for individuals gifted in administration to aid ministry taking place on the mission field. Those with administrative skills are needed in almost every facet of ministry to ensure that outreaches, meetings and programmes operate with efficiency, and that tasks, paperwork and coordination involved in organising people and events is accomplished with completeness and attention to detail.
The nature of communication and receiving in-formation to educate, inspire and involve the Church in world missions has changed radically in the last 10 years. The people in Azerbaijan are permanently using the internet and we would love to use social media to share the gospel with tools like Facebook, You Tube, Vimeo, and Instagram in Muslim dominated environment in order to reach a new generation of younger people that are not mainly reading and connecting with hard copy.
As a bookkeeper serving on the mission field, you will provide much-needed support to the accountant on the OM team, and you will fulfil a vital ministry role toward the purpose of seeing more vibrant communities of Jesus followers among the least reached. We are looking for knowledgeable, detail-oriented individuals who will handle the paperwork associated with OM's business and ministry transactions, including petty cash, data entry, bills, accounts, banking and record keeping. Participation in local ministry and team life may also be aspects of your role
