To give support to a local Church that is starting to reach the least reached areas in Panama. To plant 3 new churches in 3 different towns.

Do you want to have an experience in helping in a Church Planting Project? The participants will help the church and OM build a deeper relationship with the communties, helping the Church to draw more people to the discipleship training. We want to see a vibrant community of Jesus followers among the least reach communities in Panama.

The participants will be working with 4 communities and will impact them through home visits, children programs, sports programs, training the communities members with different workshops, and helping the church in practical work (painting and cleaning). We will have prayer walks and prayers drive in the towns and main cities.

The Participants must respect the culture and the values of the community. Having a learning attitude and the desire to understand the community is key. Teamwork important. Flexible, Adaptable and Teachable.
The participants will sleep in the floor of the church, each participant should bring his or her sleeping bag.
The Church will provide the food, local Panamanian food. Special dietary need to be communicated and may increase the cost of the outreach.
Participants will need to fly to Tocumen International Airport and will take a Public bus to Chitre (5 hours) guided by an OM Panama member. OM Panama will arrange the airport transportaion and is included in the cost
The Participant must be in good health. Participants should NOT have allergies to animals or dust.

Panama is a very open country and allows many individuals to stay for 3 months without a visa, but the individual is responsible to check the visa requirements from his or her country.

The Participant must NOT have Piercings, Tattoos must be covered, NO hair coloured with green, purple or artificial white, NO Bikinis for swimming, no short skirts, the shoulders must be covered. The Participant must bring a long skirt for women and long trousers for men especially for the church services. Some days, the participant could wear shorts but they should cover the knees. The participant should bring a BIBLE, sleeping bag, clothes for any practical work (cleaning or construction if required by the Pastor), sun protector, hat or cap, boots, semi-formal shoes, sneakers(sport shoes), and blankets, comfortable trousers, mosquito repellent, towels, any personal item for self-care.
