the STEP (Short Term Exposure Programme) is a unique opportunity for young people to serve God on board the ship.

Living and working alongside people from different nations gives you firsthand experience of what it takes to be a cross-cultural Christian worker. It is both challenging and enriching. The days will be filled with practical work in one of the ship's departments (40hrs per week/ 8hrs per day). Outreach Teams are one day per week; you will participate in an assigned ministry experience. It might be an onboard programme or an onshore event.

In good health, flexible, willing to learn. At least intermediate level of English. Must possess a passport that is still valid for at least 6 months at the leaving date from Logos Hope. Agree to abide by all ships policies.
Onboard the ship, generally in a 10-berth cabin where there is minimal storage and communal bathrooms
Nutritious meals are served in our dining room on board three times per day. The menu is set by our Executive Chef and is often determined by the food available. Unfortunately, we cannot cater to specific eating habit or diets (vegetarian, gluten free, low cholesterol, low carb, etc.) but try to offer a variety of options at each meal.
Must arrange own travel to and from the ship and visa for Schengen and UK if required. Arrival date is 20th Aug 2020 in Antwerp, Belgium. TENTATIVE Departure is early November 2020 from a UK port. Travel/Health Insurance cover is required
Must be in excellent health, able to cope with hard physical work in hot, humid climates

We'll advise on application whether your nationality will need a visa.

TENTATIVE Departure is early November 2020 from a UK Port. Cost will be adjusted once departure date is fixed. If a Visa for the UK is required for your nationality, it must be obtained before joining the ship.

The Florence STEP (Short Term Exposure Program) is a unique opportunity for individuals to serve God in Florence, SC, USA at the OM Ships International campus. It is ideal for those with little, or no, missions experience and those looking to improve their English. Our desire is that participants learn and grow in their Christian walk and have their eyes and hearts opened to what God is doing through OM Ships. It is also an opportunity to seek the Lord for their next steps. We hope that each participant will leave with a better understanding of ministry and the part they have to play.
A: Asia mission trips B: Bilingual mission conference C: Cross culture experience D: Discipleship training After the conference, you will travel with your teammates to the remote mountains there are many unreached people groups in South Asia. Millions are untouched by the transformational impact of the gospel, simply because no one has yet taken it there. We are working hard to see vibrant communities of Jesus followers among these least reached!
