We want to use the context of St Patrick to remind the people in Ireland of the message that St Patrick brought to the country long ago and its relevance today. There will be an emphasis on personal evangelism and church partnership during this outreach.

The programme begins with training and orientation at Lacken House, OM Ireland's Headquarters. Participants will head out in teams to share the Gospel through St Patrick's Day activities in partnership with local churches across Ireland.

We are looking for people who are passionate about Jesus and want to share His Good News with others. Participants need to be flexible, adaptable and teachable. Participants should be prepared for long days and evening/night ministry. Proficient conversational English is required.
Will there be accomodation provided?
Initial accommodation will be at Lacken House. We provide bedding and towels. During the outreach at churches accommodation can vary, so participants should bring a sleeping bag and pillow. If you have any particular need/requirement, please let your local OM office know.
Will there be food provided?
All meals are provided. If you have any special dietary requirements, please let your local OM office know.
Do I need to make my own travel arrangements?
Please fly into Dublin airport (DUB) in the morning (before 12pm) of Monday 13 March. Please book your departure flight for the late morning (after 12pm) of Tuesday 21 March. We may be able to provide transport from the Airport to Lacken House. If not we will provide information on how to get a bus from the Airport.
What should my health condition be like?
Check with your local OM office for travel insurance requirements. Please check the latest requirements for travel to/from Ireland in relation to Covid.
Do I need a visa?

EEA and Swiss nationals do not need a visa to enter Ireland. If you are not an EEA/Swiss national, you can visit Ireland for up to 90 days without having to register with the immigration authorities. However, some nationalities will require a visa before they leave their country of residence. Please check if you require a visa to enter as a visitor and we will provide a letter of invitation if necessary. For more information visit www.inis.gov.ie

Note that visa costs, background check, and travel to and from Ireland are not included in the outreach cost. More information about OM Ireland and our programmes can be found at our website www.ie.om.org. Once participants are accepted, we will send practical information. To enquire about the Latin America and Africa rates, please email shortterm.ie@om.org
