the STEP (Short Term Exposure Programme) is a unique opportunity for young people to serve God on board the ship.

Living and working alongside people from different nations gives you firsthand experience of what it takes to be a cross-cultural Christian worker. It is both challenging and enriching. The days will be filled with practical work in one of the ship's departments (40hrs per week/ 8hrs per day). Outreach Teams are one day per week; you will participate in an assigned ministry experience. It might be an onboard programme or an onshore event (COVID-19 restrictions apply).

In good health, flexible, willing to learn. At least intermediate level of English. Must possess a passport that is still valid for at least 6 months at the leaving date from Logos Hope. Agree to abide by all ships policies. Must be fully vaccinated against covid 19

Do I need to make my own travel arrangements?
Must arrange own travel to and from the ship and visas if required. Arrival date:15 August 2023 from a future port. Departure will be 8 November 2023 from a future port. Travel/Health Insurance cover is required. your insurance must cover Covid-19 treatment and repatriation if needed.
What should my health condition be like?
Must be in excellent health, able to cope with hard physical work in hot, humid climates.
Do I need a visa?

Once the port and country is confirmed, please check your nationality visa requirement to enter the country.

There are so many people all over the world that don’t know Jesus. Do you want to do something about that? We are on a mission to put a vibrant community of Jesus followers in everyone’s reach, especially where there is not already a local church present. Come join REACH in South Africa to be prepared and equipped together with other likeminded people from all over the globe to do just that. You will be trained in practical skills, challenged to grow as a disciple of Jesus, and guided to find your strategic place in world missions!
We aim to give participants - Knowledge and experiences to help them grow, and continue growing, in their knowledge of, and intimacy with God and awareness of self. - An understanding of God's heart for the nations. We particularly focus on what God is doing amongst Muslim people in the world and within our movement, while exposing participants to various opportunities. Participants will learn biblical and proven skills and tools to engage Muslim peoples while serving on a multicultural team. Participants will be provided opportunities to apply what they have learned within Turkey and another Muslim country, when possible.
