The "Love Slettheia" summer camp wants to develop relationships among the community in Slettheia, sharing God´s love through different activities and teaching sessions, common recreational activities and various workshops that develop different skills during a week in the summer, while giving the opportunity to learn, reflect and know Jesus in a personal way.

"Love Slettheia" Summer week is one of the ministries of OM Norway. It is focused on children between 5 and 13 years old and consists of a summer week where the participants have common recreational activities, workshops in various areas (Music, drama, sports, crafts, dance, photography) and also spaces to reflect and learn from God through Bible stories.

This ministry wants to develop relationships among the community in Slettheia. Many of the children comes from different cultural background. The duration of the camp is one week during the summer holidays, having one day getting to know the team, five days of workshops and common activities, ending with a presentation for the family about what they have learned and accomplished in the workshops. On the sixth day (Saturday) there is a recreational outing for the whole family and in this way our summer camp for participating families ends. The seventh day of the week, Sunday Service, feedback and evaluation of the camp by the logistics team, workshops and other collaborators.

Believers who would like to serve God through actions, leading or helping during the workshops. People who is passionate about arts, drama, music, sports, photography, dance and different creative activities and who want to communicate the gospel in a practical way. Teamworkers willing to serve and learn from oneanother.
Will there be accomodation provided?
Team members stay in a church near the area of ministry.

Do I need to make my own travel arrangements?
Participants needs to fly to the airport in Kristiansand, Norway.
What should my health condition be like?
Good health and able to walk and perform physical work. Please make sure participants have efficient travel medical insurance and bring personal medicine with them

Mostly they are from India, Bangladesh, Iran and Europe. (Master & Ph.D course’s students) Also you will be participate with local ministries and churches as well.
