Your group will be serving in partnership with local village churches to serve within the community by utilizing your hands through practical work. The specific needs are depending on each church in the village.

Depending on the practical work you will be reaching out in one or two villages. Practical work can involve cleaning and painting houses of people in need, building a playground, constructing a garden, digging a toilet, cutting weeds etc. Most likely you will also do a kids program in addition to the practical work.

Do you have a desire to share the Gospel through your practical gifts? Do you want to be challenged in your faith and experience God in a new way through cross-cultural ministry? Do you have a passion to reach the lost by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Come and join our Construction Outreach. - GROUPS ONLY –

We would greatly appreciate if you could help by fundraising money for construction materials for building playgrounds or other projects, this usually costs us an added $5000. The Kids ‘n’ Things Academy is our training programme for children’s workers. Through the Academy sessions, you will learn theory, theology and skills which will help you to develop in children’s ministry. You will have the opportunity to use and develop many of the skills taught in the Academy while delivering the Lionheart holiday club programme '‘Lionheart and the Ultimate Gaming Adventure’ in churches, which you will learn with the team when you arrive. You may also be able to volunteer with some of our partner organisations to get some wider experience of various children’s ministries. A Lionheart holiday club is a five-day event for children, held in a church. Each day there is a fast moving, entertaining two-hour programme, designed for children to enjoy themselves as they learn the truth about God and about themselves. OM’s Kids ‘n’ Things children’s ministry team works in partnership with the church members to run the club.

OM’s Kids ‘n’ Things children’s ministry team works in partnership with the church members to run the club. A Lionheart holiday club can be a useful event to bring in children from the community who do not usually attend church. Our aim is then to channel these children into the ongoing children’s work of the church. Although some children may become Christians during the holiday club it is often during the ongoing contact with Christians that children make a commitment. A Lionheart club is suitable for all primary school age children (4-11 years old). Some churches run a family service at the end of the week, which the children and their families are invited to.
The presence of Christ “I’ve never been so proud to be a Moldovan as I am today. People from all over the country are jumping to help the refugees from Ukraine,” Eugen, the OM country leader in Moldova, shared after witnessing the poorest country in Europe rise to the task of caring for those fleeing Ukraine.
