The REACH in Turkey 5 month discipleship program is an awesome opportunity for participants to connect with least reached people groups, while they grow in their own faith and relationship with God and others.

As a result of REACH in Turkey, we want to see global participants, including same, near and far-culture people, walking in step with God as their hearts and experiences are stretched. We want to equip them practically and with confidence to engage with Muslims as a member of our teams or in their home church in the Muslim world or diaspora.

Participants need to be flexible, teachable, somewhat adventurous as they explore and adjust to a new environment. Participants need to be in good health as the REACH in Turkey programme requires a lot of walking and travelling
Will there be accomodation provided?
People will be staying in local family's house or sharing in flats with other participants.
Will there be food provided?
Students are given allowances each week and expected to cater for themselves by a simple lifestyle. Some team meals will be shared together.
Do I need to make my own travel arrangements?
Participants need to arrange their own travel to Turkey. All ministry travel during REACH in Turkey is covered.
What should my health condition be like?
We recommend individuals be fully vaccinated before travelling. People who are not vaccinated will need to check the policy of Entering Turkey.
Do I need a visa?

Applicants should check if they need to apply for a visa for Turkey. https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/ After arrival, participants will be assisted in the application for other Muslim countries within West and Central Asia.

Families welcome: If children are below School age

This is a great and unique opportunity to join the first crew on Doulos Hope to get the ship ready for Ministry . Come with a servant heart, an attitude to learn, and willingness to be flexible and this could be the experience of a lifetime. Many who have been on OM ships on a short term experience bear witness to the huge impact it has made on their lives, and to how God has worked in and through them.
