STEP OUT is a short-term program that provides practical mission training and experience hands-on mission in Asia. A: Asia mission trips B: Bilingual mission conference C: Cross culture experience D: Discipleship training After the conference, you will travel with your teammates to outreach place. You will involve in local mission based on educational program. We are warmly welcome those who have passion for making difference in people’s lives by using your gifts and talents.

  • About

We will ride from the North Taiwan to the South along the west coast line. We will be praying for Taiwan, and connect to locals or biker friends for chances to share the gospel. To join this ministry, you need: 1. Passion for sharing the Gospel and boldness to engage at all times 2. Excellent command of English (you don't need to know Chinese, our co-workers will help to translate) 3. Be in shape as we will be riding at least 70 km a day 4. A desire to serve fellow riders in prayer, encouragement, and practical areas of everyday life 5. You will need to have a good road bike (in great condition and basic tools). There may have a chance to rent in Taiwan if needed. 6. You could also participate as a volunteer in logistics (bike mechanic, medical support, cooking) and by being part of the evangelism team. 7. Please examine your physical condition before registering, we will be riding along the West Coast of Taiwan, mostly flat and very safe cycling routes. However, it will be a 50-70km ride everyday.

22 July: Arrive at Taiwan for conference. All participants will have dinner together before the first program starts. 23- 26 July: It includes main sessions, interaction sessions, team building, different practical workshops, cross-cultural awareness, GO night, prayer night, community night. The conference will end in the evening of 25 July. 26 July: Depart conference to outreach place. 26 -31 July: Outreach R2T Taiwan 31 July: Depart to home

  • Participant Profile
We are looking for people who love Jesus. No previous experience is necessary as here it could be your starting point! Additionally, if you have a heart for Asia but are not sure about where to start, this program is definitely designed for you. Another distinctive feature for STEP OUT is the BILINGUAL conference (English and Chinese)! We warmly welcome Chinese speakers who struggle to communicate in English as Chinese interpretation would be provided throughout the conference. Participant is recommended to have basic English communication skill due to our team common language is in English. Other information: 1. We have a support team throughout the ride alongside the bike team, if you cannot complete the route or feel unwell, you can ride with the support team vehicle any time. 2. Insurance and safety car expenses are included in the registering fee. **please be flexible, schedule might change due to outreach country's circumstance.

Will there be accomodation provided?
Simple accommodation

You will be offered Taiwanese food and local Food. Special dietary needs have to be communicated in advance.
Do I need to make my own travel arrangements?
You should arrange your flight to Taoyuan International Airport(TPE), Taiwan - home country. Full details of travel arrangements will be provided by your local OM office. Airport pick-up will be arranged on the arrival day. Transportation will be provided from the conference venue to the airport on the departure day. **please arrive Taoyuan International Airport(TPE), Taiwan on before 3pm on 22 July .Depart Taiwan before noon on 31 July.
What should my health condition be like?
You should be in good health, and be responsible to obtain appropriate emergency health, medical, and travel insurance
Do I need a visa?

Only a TOURIST visa is required. In addition, Taiwan has visa exemption relationships with many countries. Please confirm full details in the website of Taiwanese bureau of consular affairs: https://www.boca.gov.tw/mp-2.html
