ZavCentre (ZC) often hosts missionaries, volunteers, and representatives from church and Christian organizations around the world. Besides 60 beds, we have video and audio recording studios, workshops, and the Belgian OM office.

Two thirds of a fACTOR participant’s workday will be spent doing regular or project based practical tasks like cleaning, painting, and other activities related to the upkeep of ZavCentre. The other third of the time will be dedicated to intentional discipleship and mentoring aimed at helping participants explore and dive deeper into their faith. In their first week with us, participants will be assigned a personal mentor who will walk alongside them throughout their time in Belgium. They will also join occasional day outings, enabling them to see and experience more of Belgium.

- Have a desire to serve others - Motivated to be discipled and learn about faith - Open to being challenged and to grow - Flexible with their time
Will there be accomodation provided?
Participants will live in community in Zaventem, Belgium. It’s a town only a few minutes away by train from Brussels and the International Airport.
Will there be food provided?
Meal costs are included in the overall fee, having said this, participants will often cook together as a team. Dietary restrictions are to be communicated in advance.
Do I need to make my own travel arrangements?
Participants are responsible for travel costs and arrangements to and from Belgium. We suggest flying into Brussels International Airport, with airport code: BRU. Participants will be picked up at the train station or the airport. A programme leader will contact them prior to the day of arrival to arrange pick-up details.

Participants must be in generally good health. They should be physically able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Do I need a visa?

Applicants should check if they need a visa to come to Belgium.

The Luke 24 Journey is a personal journey within a team setup. We focus on hearing God’s voice and live by faith and obedience. As we travel through the mountains or the desert there may be an opportunity to minister to or serve people. The Luke 24 journey is unique in the sense that it doesn’t have a fixed or planned program beforehand. As we journey together we ask and trust God to guide us in our daily walk with him. Our desire through the Luke 24 Journey is that people would receive or confirm a clear calling and be commissioned to be Disciple Makers wherever they may find themselves in the future.
