Our purpose is to share God’s love with people. We want to equip, train and challenge Jesus followers to reflect Him and to use their God given gifts. As a result, we share hope with the people we meet along the way, investing in them and building bridges. We also hope that all participants will go away strengthened in their faith and with a deeper desire to share their faith cross-culturally.
We long to see many people turn to Christ in Berlin, especially among Turkish-speaking immigrants, but also among all Muslim immigrants. This outreach will serve as a tool to share the Gospel with these communities.

The Luke 24 Journey is a personal journey within a team setup. We focus on hearing God’s voice, live by faith and obedience. As we travel through the mountains or the desert there may be an opportunity to minister to or serve people. The Luke 24 journey is unique in the sense that it doesn’t have a fixed or planned program beforehand. As we journey together we ask and trust God to guide us in our daily walk with him. Our desire through the Luke 24 Journey is that people would receive or confirm a clear calling and be commissioned to be Disciple Makers wherever they may find themselves in the future.

You may also be able to volunteer with some of our partner organisations to get some wider experience of various children’s ministries. OM’s Kids ‘n’ Things children’s ministry team works in partnership with the church members to run the club. A Lionheart holiday club can be a useful event to bring in children from the community who do not usually attend church. Our aim is then to channel these children into the ongoing children’s work of the church. Although some children may become Christians during the holiday club it is often during the ongoing contact with Christians that children make a commitment. A Lionheart club is suitable for all primary school age children (4-11 years old). Some churches run a family service at the end of the week, which the children and their families are invited to.

Every year hundreds of thousands of devoted Catholics make their way to Fatima to worship and offer penance to the Virgin Mary. This is one of the holiest sites for Roman Catholics, as in 1917, three young shepherd children reported being visited by Mary. The pilgrims who come to this site are in Spiritual darkness and need to understand the hope and freedom that comes through Jesus.
