Full Time
August 2020
MDTs exist to DISCIPLE and EQUIP believers for missions, as we SEND them to be involved in
seeing vibrant communities of Jesus followers among the least reached being established.

At MDT Ireland we build our programme around four key areas:
COMMUNITY – living in a vibrant community with people from all over the world.
You will get to know people of different ages, cultures and theological understanding as you live, work and study in a cross-cultural community of believers.

MENTORING – walking a journey with an experienced
missionary at MDT.
As a trainee you will be assigned a specific person who will be your mentor throughout the training. Mentoring takes place about once a week and the purpose of the mentor is to walk alongside you as you learn, experience, are challenged and grow. This is someone you can share concerns, struggles and joys with as you walk this journey with God.

KNOWLEDGE – laying a Biblical foundation for ministry.
Through lectures from experienced teachers and missionaries, along with assigned reading and small groups, you will study a wide variety of topics. All of this is aimed to equip you in understanding more about God, His word and His world. There are also practical workshops giving you tools for missions and ministry.

EXPERIENCE – exposing you to many different kinds of ministry.
You will come alongside churches and serve them wherever that is needed. You get the opportunity to learn many different sides of ministry. Whatever needs there are in the community, you will have an opportunity to help!

Participants need to:
– Have a love for Jesus and a desire to share your faith
– Be flexible and have willingness to work as a team
– Be between 18-30 years old
– Have at least conversational English language ability
– Fulfill and abide by OM Ireland child protection requirements (much work will be youth and child focused)

The next team begins in September 2020, will you join us?
Impact Ireland is all about sharing the Gospel with people who do not know Jesus, confident that the Gospel will make an impact in their lives. We want to: - introduce Irish people to Jesus by sharing the Gospel message widely and creatively - inspire Irish believers to live for Christ - encourage and support Irish churches in evangelism - help participants grow in their love for God and their confidence in sharing the Gospel
