After serving with TEAM in Japan for over 12 years, Owen now serves in two regional roles.
As the Regional Member Care Coordinator for Australasia he cares for around 50 workers and their families serving in South East Asia in a wide range of ways including Church Planting, Evangelism, Discipleship, Medical Ministry, Orphan ministry, working with Women at risk and doing Business as Mission. This role includes onboarding new workers well, team building, coaching and leadership development as well as ensuring they get the support they need when challenging situations arise.
As the Director of Collaboration and Globalization for the Asia Pacific Region he works to start and develop partnerships with our Asian brothers and sisters across the 18 countries where we serve in Asia for the extension of the Kingdom. This includes working with local sending organizations, churches, denominations and seminaries. It involves receiving their workers in our ministries, and sending our workers to partner with their ministries, as well as supporting them in reaching places we aren’t able to access.
Sarah supports Owen in his role and also oversees member care and community outreach at their home church, Unley Park Baptist Church.
Owen and Sarah are incredibly grateful for OM’s Kingdom heart in releasing and supporting them in these ministries.
