Having grown up attending an annual missions camp, I was acutely aware of the need for cross-cultural missions, but it took an intervention by God – stopping me from becoming an air force pilot – for me to see the self-centredness of my aspirations. This led me on a journey to the point of hearing my own voice in the words “Here am I. Send me!” (Isa 6).
Central Asia is in desperate need of the hope of the gospel.
I will be part of missionary discipleship training for the first 5 months, learning and practicing sharing the gospel with Muslims. For the rest of the 2 years, I will focus on learning language (30 hrs per week) and culture to communicate this hope amongst the least reached parts of this nation.
