Cross-cultural missions never quite crossed my mind until a youth pastor led a group of us on a two-week mission in Southeast Asia. After reading the Bible daily and starting a 40-day devotional, I came to realise that all these years, I had put God on the sideline and lived life my own way.
He then called me to overseas mission which I doubted and needed confirmation, as I always thought I’d serve at my home church. God was faithful to me, and I began a gap year mission, spending time in rural PNG, sharing the Gospel and building relationships.
Since then, reaching the unreached people and sharing God’s Word is something He has placed strongly in my heart.
May God’s will be done as I bring the hope of Jesus Christ and His love to South Asia, building relationships, and discipling local believers to know their identity in Christ and share the Good News.
